Great news everyone!
Maggie’s Organics has been recognized as one of the 2010 “Michigan 50 Companies to Watch,” an awards program sponsored by the Edward Lowe Foundation and presented by Michigan Celebrates Small Business. Winners were selected by Michigan-based judges from the banking, economic development, entrepreneurship development and venture capital communities.
The (sixth annual) awards ceremony is taking place on April 29th in Lansing, Michigan. The keynote speech will be given by Governer Jennifer Granholm.
“We are honored to receive this award as it acknowledges the hard work we have done recently to grow and sustain our business while being conscious of the environment and the social aspects of our production process. We look forward to more growth in the future and to meeting the needs of our customers along the way,” said Bená Burda, President and Founder of Maggie’s Organics.
